I am EXHAUSTED today. After a long weekend of fighting jetlag and by some miracle going out and staying out all night, I am officially dead today. I got up early at 7:15.. which I wouldn't really say I woke up at 7:15 considering I just laid in bed and toss and turned all night until 7:15. This jetlag stuff needs to pass, and I need to be more in sync with the schedules here. I'm so tired during the day and at night I'm awake and can't sleep! On top of that, the hours of [not] eating are bizarre and I'm not used to them at all.
Took my placement exam for my classes for the semester! For the preliminary course we need to take, I placed in level 7 of 9 and by the end of it I will go up to level 8 for the regular classes that start the second week of February. After the test.. which finally ended around 12ish. We took a city sight seeing bus tour. It was great. Granada is SUCH a beautiful city. I can't believe I'm here. I've posted a lot of pictures that I took onto my facebook! Check them out :) After the tour, we all went to a restaurant and had this pumpkin soup.. it was surprisingly really good. I can picture you guys reading this going, "wtf?" After the pumpkin soup we had this roasted chicken with some fries, and then after the fries we had a plate of fruit! Tomorrow is the first day of the intensive language course, so we'll see how my sleep goes tonight... hopefully well, haha! Classes are for 4 hours from Monday to Friday. But when the regular classes start we only have a couple each day and only Monday to Thursday.
I've been able to use my spanish a lot though, the practice is great. I love speaking the language, so living here is really working out for me, haha! Oh, did I mention I'm going to come back speaking like Spaniard? Yeah.. :)
Although I'm having a GREAT time in Spain, I miss everyone back home. <3 you! Hasta mañana!
