Location: My apartment, 8:18PM

I figured it was about time I updated this sucker again.

So it has officially been a full week of the intensive language course we have to take. I really love my teachers, they're cool as hell and the way they teach is great. The downside is that I have class from 4pm to 8pm and it's right after lunch... so really all I want to do after I eat a huge lunch and chill and not do anything, but instead I have to go to class and sit there for four house fighting to really pay attention. On top of it, the course isn't all that hard for me. Either way, I still love it, and going to school gives me something to do. I live about 20 minutes walking from the school. I have made new friends in class. Majority of us are from the United States (about 4 in total from ILSTU), there is a girl from Canada, a boy from Norway, a boy from Macedonia (but studies in Pennsylvania) and an older guy from Italy. In our class we do a lot of discussion and learning about phrases, etc. I learn new words in class every day. The discussion is nice because I get to really practice my Espanol and my teacher corrects us when there's a grammar error or any other error.

Besides class, I will occasionally go out for a walk, or for tapas or something. There are so many places around here that you can go to, that it's kind of overwhelming haha. At night, I will stay in unless it's Wednesday and we're going to Granada 10 (a night club around here) because it's ladies night, and there's free bar (only beer and wine) 11pm-12:30. I went there Wednesday and had a good time for sure. Soon, the weekend rolls around. Friday we decided to go to the "botellon" which means bottle in spanish. It's basically a huge lot in the city where everyone just congregates and drinks. I'm telling you, EVERY BODY just stands around and drinks. No bathrooms either so you have to go find somewhere and take a squat. After the botellon we went to a club, and I met a cutie pie named Mario. Haha.. I was really drunk... TOO. MUCH. BEER. We were at the botellon for a while with these gay guys we met, and then our friends Angel (Kuki), Uhmer, Mario, and other people. Kuki is our favorite though. He's SO funny and also in love with Lisa. HAHA. KUKIIIIIIII. We met them the first night here on the street. He's from this part of Granada that is called Zadien, but when they say it, it sounds like sardine so I was calling him "cookie de sardine" but that was before I realized it's spelled "Kuki" and it's a nickname for like "a little crazy" haha.

Yesterday I just kind of hung around the house... then me, Lindsay and Lisa all went out for a drink and some tapas (kind of like appetizers.) The service was really slow, they're just really slow here. Haha, it's funny comparing our lifestyle to that of Spain's. Everyone's so much more laid back, and takes the time to enjoy themselves and life. After that, we all kind of decided that we weren't going to be going out because it was a rough night the night before. But before we know it, our neighbors (4 college guys from here.... 2 VERY cute might my add) invited us over to their place to drink, hang out, talk, etc. So after Lisa got back from her date (a boy from our group is in love with her) we headed over. They're really, REALLY cool guys. At first me and Lisa were kind of shy, but knowing us, we broke out of the shell within 10 minutes. The guys' names are Ignacio (Iggy), Ramon (Polo), Ricardo (Ricky Martin) and Alejandro (Alex, Lisco). The names in parenthesis are their nicknames. Iggy and Ricky were given to them by Lisa. HAHA. Anyway, we talked about so many different things. From futbol to sex. Haha. We listen to a bunch of different music, mostly Reggaeton and U.S. Pop. I loved listening to them speak in English, and sing in english might I add. As the night went on, they spoke more and more English, and Lisa and I spoke more and more Spanish. It was great. We kind of paired off.. Ricardo&Lisa and Me&Ramon. Ramon is SO cute, and I loved talking and getting to know him. Along with listening to music, talking, laughing and having a GREAT time, we played a drinking game that the boys invented. It was fun! No name or anything. It was like a board game that said different things to do for whatever box you landed on. We didn't end up finishing the game.. Let's just say the rest is for us to know, and you to never find out. By the way, I love hearing Spanish guys speak English. (:

Today, I didn't do shit but my homework-- which I still some left to do. There was a tour of the really big, pretty cathedral here, but we missed the sign up. So now when we go on our own, it's going to be more expensive. We'll see. And one more note: The time from Jan. 29th to Feb. 5 I will be in ITALIA! Yummy!

Love you.
